Dova International Charities, Ltd. worked with our partner, Iraqi Christian Relief Council (ICRC), (https://iraqichristianrelief.org/) on a project in Iraq to provide Christian children in Alqosh, Iraq a children’s park. The Christian children in Alqosh needed help to provide them a playground park at the Mar Mikha Chaldean Catholic Church. It is important for the children to have a designated place to play so that they can feel a sense of normalcy and relieve the trauma that they feel after the years of ISIS terrorizing the Nineveh of Iraq. With your assistance we were able to entirely funding this children’s play park. Approximately 30 to 50 Christian children will be served by this park. The park will be 10 by 20 meters in diameter. There will be toys, games and other play equipment provided for the children. A fence will surround the park to protect it from strong winds.
